Graduates of LeTourneau University’s School of Aviation and Aeronautical Science may be eligible for a restricted privileges Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) Certificate, which allows the ATP Certificate to be issued at either 1,000 hours total time or 1,250 hours total time. These pages outline the requirements and approval so that students and graduates can be fully informed of the process to qualify for a restricted privileges ATP Certificate. A restricted privileges ATP certificate allows a pilot to serve as a co-pilot until he or she obtains the necessary 1,500 hours.
