Design Technology
What is Design Technology? All manufactured items and construction projects must be designed and drawn before production. The need for trained design/drafting personnel will increase as the economy grows. Almost every type of industry employs designers. Technical Designers convert ideas into plans and details for making machinery, equipment, structures, and products. Much of today's drafting is done with computer-aided drafting (CAD), 2-D and 3-D. However, conventional Board Drafting skills are still needed. |
