Poor Shooting Hampers Yellow Jackets In 72-48 Loss At Texas Lutheran
SEGUIN, TEXAS- The LeTourneau University women’s basketball team shot a season low 20.5 percent in an excruciating 72-48 road loss against the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs inside Memorial Gymnasium.
In the first half of play, LETU only shot 18.8 percent from the field and was 2-for-11 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs were led by Tamisha Timpson’s 6 points and 2 rebounds as they cruised to a 33-19 halftime lead.
In the second half of play, the Jackets scored 29 points and shot 22 percent from the floor. They had no players to get in double figures, and Brittany Adams 9 points was the closest for LeTourneau on 3-of-10 shooting.
With the loss, LETU (3-8) drops to 2-2 in conference road games this season. The Yellow
Jackets will be back in action after Christmas break on January 8th against McMurry University.
