LETU Aviation Student Abigail Kutz Wins $1,500 in WIA Scholarships

LeTourneau University senior aviation maintenance major Abigail Kutz of Phoenix, Arizona, will receive two Women In Aviation scholarships totaling $1,500.

The first scholarship is the $1,000 A&P Scholarship from Louisville Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM) Chapter. The second scholarship is the $500 “Tools Beneath Your Wings” Scholarship in memory of pilot and mechanic Richard L. Waters who shared his knowledge and skills with individuals of all ages. 

Kutz is hoping to attend the Women in Aviation conference in Reno, Nevada, this spring to attend the AWAM social and scholarship breakfast and volunteer with Girls in Aviation.
